X-Men 3 Set Scoop
Hugh Jackman with great action sequences, the appearance
of Phat, the danger room, and a few more juicy little details come our way
thanks to 'erinjoy', a blogger that has been close to the X-Men 3
set from the beginning.
I got a chance to visit the set for the first time a few days ago. They are doing x3 reshoots until the end of this month. Got to watch it being filmed before my very eyes. Sat in the white tent with the assistant director and watched the playback on the t.v. screens while hearing their comments about what works and what doesn't. Talked to Hugh Jackman and heard him say directly to my man, "Your action sequences were by far the best. Great job man." and having him introduce himself to me and, after 10-15ft feet away from him after walking out the food tent, hearing him say, "And it was a pleasure to meet you!" (with a smile on his face).
Lastly, to clarify, saw Phat once again on the call sheet (or at least his body double). The actors that are flying back for reshoots this month? Obviously Hugh Jackman is here, Kelsey Grammer will be here for the end of the month, saw Colossus (whatever his name is in real life), pyro and iceman (sorry, not good with famous people names). Also Ken Leung.
That's all the news I've got (or am going to share). Because of the fact
that the movie is soon to come out and I don't want to be caught in a situation
now (after sharing I've been on set) where I am tempted to share more than
I should, I'm out for now. Hope you all enjoy the movie and try not to get
too comic-book nerdy! Get some fresh air, enjoy the weather, and hope you
all like the finished project! Watched a little on the screen and the action,
if anything, will definitely be an improvement from both the first two.
Saw the danger room, alcatraz scene, golden gate bridge. Yes, experienced
it first hand now. All I have to say is, they have a lot of money to spend
to be able to destroy all of those sets!
