Back in September Warner Independent Pictures impressed the hell out of us with their character posters for their upcoming animation A
Scanner Darkly. Though the progress of the film has been slow (that's an understatement), every update we have received on the animation has been nothing short of stellar.
Besides a great second trailer for the film Warner surprised us with a sweet-looking one-sheet. Since the recent poster has gotten so much praise the studio figured they would update all the old character posters to match.
What this means is a higher contrast, more color and the updated font.

Our good buddy 'RonJon' sent us over the latest batch of updated character posters for A Scanner Darkly. Though he claims they were mailed over to him, it looks like the source of the posters may have originated from LatinoReview.
Below is one of the original character posters-- featuring Keanu Reeves --and the four updated posters. See the difference?

The new tagline for A Scanner Darkly is also another perk to the updated posters. Not that I want to give too much away, but A Scanner Darkly is not one of those films where all the characters go skipping off into the sunset; actually it is quite the opposite. Warner Independent hints at this notion with 'Everything is not going to be OK.'
