Disney is getting amped about its upcoming Pixar collaboration titled Cars. They first released a press release earlier this week to alert us that the full trailer was on its way and set to hit the internet on March 9th-- today. Only one day later, Disney opened up the Cars 'showroom' (aka website) in order to promote the film and the characters with top-of-the-line flash.
Since the trailer will be hitting the internet some time today, we figured Disney/Pixar would be able to take a break on promoting the film; the full trailer should get enough attention. However, it looks like Mickey Mouse wears leather chaps and whips the marketing team to keep them producing overtime.
Not only do we have a trailer today but character images and an interview with director John Lasseter.
Cars Character Images
USA Today has released an entire slideshow that introduces characters from Cars that we haven't even seen in any of the trailers yet. The slideshow is fourteen pictures long and, yes, features fourteen different characters from the film.

Each character image also provides the character's name and description.
Once you are done checking out those images you can then check out the other report with USA Today and John Lasseter titled Pixar Whiz Reanimates Disney. The magazine discusses the background of Lasseter and how this director continues to be part of great animated films.
