After tons of warning, Disney/Pixar has released the full trailer for their upcoming animation, Cars. Unlike the last trailers, the full trailer shows off tons of the outdoor settings and just how good Pixar has gotten with CG animation.

The full trailer for Cars is so slick that you can't help feeling that Pixar may be showing off a bit. The trailer shows how Pixar can create just about any setting, any element (be it water or dust) and talking vehicles so convincing that there are some shots that look nearly live-action. I am still a little unsure about the story, since the trailers are more into the look than the plot, but it looks like the entire film comes down to self-discovery by racing hotrod Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson). After taking a poor turn in some type of hick-town off of Route 66, McQueen is forced to learn friendship and perhaps even love; McQueen has the hots for a Porsche (Sally- voiced by Bonnie Hunt) who surprisingly has a tattoo across her lower, what should I call it, back.
What's next? Cars shaving dirty regions?
