Ten years after the actor showed us how money he was as the character Trent, aka 'T', in the underground comedy Swingers, Vince Vaughn is now being told that he is like a big f*@king bear, with claws.
Vaughn is ShoWest Comedy Star of the Year
According to THR, Vince Vaughn will be hailed as the ShoWest Comedy Star of the Year at the annual exhibitors convention, which kicks off this Monday in Las Vegas.
Vaughn's role as the babbling bestfriend, Jeremy Grey, in Wedding Crashers was enough to keep audiences roaring for two hours while also earning him the ShoWest award.
Vaughn has been due this type of award ever since his breakout performance in Swingers and his repeat visits of hilarity in films such as Made, Old School, Anchorman and Mr and Mrs Smith. We have been so amped on Vaughn recently that we decided to hold a poll that put Wedding Crashers up against 40 Year-Old Virgin on the funniest film of 2005. Since Vaughn is getting the award at ShoWest, I guess we can mark up another point for Crashers. Check out the poll HERE.
Vaughn has recently become known for the slogan 'I like where your head is at,' dialogue he used in both Mr and Mrs Smith and Wedding Crashers; can we expect to hear it again in The Break-Up?
For those of you, like me, who just can't get enough of Vince Vaughn, rest assured that the actor has an entire slate of films coming our way including The Break-Up, Outsourced, Other Side of Simple, The H-Man Cometh and No Place Like Home.
