You have got to hand it to Columbia Pictures. The studio has yet to release any major update for their tentpole flick Ghost Rider during 2006 and the film still remains on the top ten most anticipated movies. The film, which has been plagued with leaked previews, negative buzz on early special effects and a burning skull that nobody can seem to get right, did have a release date set for summer of 2006 but was pushed back thanks to the reasons listed plus God knows how many other setbacks the production is having. However, Columbia Pictures may have caught a break by pushing the release date back. The summer season is already so tight when it comes to the release of big-budget films that I am sure there are other studios that are wishing they can do the same.
Though we now will be waiting just under a year for the Ghost Rider, we may be able to let the fact slide if Columbia Pictures keeps releasing updates and images like these.
Ghost Rider Art
The good people over at SHH recently got the exclusive on four Ghost Rider artworks that look fan-freakin-tastic. If the film is able to pull off anything close to these, well, let's not get ahead of ourselves.

The image above is just a warm-up to the three other images. Can we expect Ghost Rider to ride the skeleton horse in the film?
Columbia Pictures has originally hoped to release Ghost Rider on July 14th of this year. The release date for the film is now February 16, 2007.
