One always has to be a bit jealous of the pull that MySpace has. Now that Fox has control over the reigns, we should have figured that the (very) popular website would begin to promote films like never before.
Take, for instance, Warner Bros upcoming film
V for Vendetta. The film now has two separate profiles on MySpace and boy does 'V' have a lot of friends!
V for Vendetta Profiles
If you take a look at MySpace, which I am sure most of you do, you might as well check out V's profile by going to www.myspace.com/vforvendetta. The profile features movie stills, discussions, a new clip from yours truly, a list of friends and comments.
Once you are done playing around in V's (Hugo Weaving) profile, you might as well visit Chancellor Sutler's as well (www.myspace.com/chancellorsutler). Like V's profile, Chancellor Sutler (John Hurt) offers a new clip for the film plus additional movie stills and promotional images.
Though Chancellor Sutler's page offers a bit more and has a better layout, not as may people want to be the totalitarian's friend.
I don't know if it is just me, but the Chancellor looks like he needs to go on the non-Atkins diet.
We had expected a ton of new movie clips to appear online today for anticipation of V for Vendetta's release tomorrrow. So far we have yet to receive any media updates on the film (today).
FYI: Tom still remains to be V's friend, but little does he know that codename V is working to overthrow the MySpace leadership.
V for Vendetta will be released to theatres tomorrow, March 17th.
