Nacho Libre
Approximately two weeks ago Paramount announced that we could expect twenty confessionals from Jack Black himself for the upcoming comedy Nacho
Libre. The confessionals are video diaries for the film and allow our host, Jack Black, to take us through the set and filming of Nacho Libre.
Today, the 20th of March, we have finally been given Confessional #1 and it shows us a ton of, well, nothing.
Nacho Libre Confessional #1
Since this is the first Confessional by Jack Black I am hoping that it works more as an intro tape than a production diary. Besides hearing Jack talk about his hair, his mustache and his need to shit, the Confessional only gives us a quick glimpse at the side of the mission used in Nacho Libre.
One of the perks of the video is the simple humor it finds in making fun of the crew and the guy helping Jack Black use the camera.
We should still look forward to other Confessionals and hope they get better than this first go. Judging by the titles of the Confessionals coming our way next week, "Prelude to a Waxing" and "Waxed Jack," we should have a couple laughs in store.
Paramount Pictures will begin launching two confessionals a week for the next ten weeks beginning next week; say that three times fast!
