The Da Vinci Code
Earlier this week Sony Pictures released a new TV spot for The Da Vinci Code that surprisingly looked better than the two trailers before it. Well, it turns out that the TV spot was only a warm-up to the full theatrical trailer released today.
Featuring the same music featured in the trailer for Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, the theatrical trailer for The Da Vinci Code makes the TV spot look abridged.
Theatrical The Da Vinci Code Trailer
One thing that I love about the trailers for The Da Vinci Code is that you can tell Sony Pictures has pushed all-in for this film. With the film being discusses as the most anticipated movie of 2006, it is easy to understand why Sony feels this way. However, with hype this big the film is going to have to be perfect or the slightest error can sink box office numbers after the opening weekend. Judging by the trailers, it looks like director Ron Howard has stuck to form and created yet another masterpiece. However, I do not remember whether the book had Mary cut out of the "Last Supper" image. Wasn't she in the image the whole time?
