Shrek 2
Considering that Shrek 2 was just as entertaining as the original Shrek and considered, by some, to be the better film, we have been anxiously awaiting to see what next Dreamworks Animation has in store for us.
Shrek 3, officially titled Shrek the Third, is heading our way for a 2007 release and it now looks like Dreamworks if ready to give away some plot info.
Shrek 3 Title and Plot
When we were told that the working title of Shrek 3 was Shrek the Third we were a bit surprised. Since the sequel to Shrek had the simple title of Shrek 2 we figured the same would go for Shrek 3. I guess Dreamworks saw a chance to update the title now that Shrek is sitting on a thrown.
One of the greatest additions to Shrek 2 was Rupert Everett's Prince Charming. Fortunately, it does look like his character will be making a return along with the original gang plus Puss in Boots.
Shrek the Third finds Shrek and Fiona reluctantly reigning over Far, Far Away. But if they can find the heir to the throne and bring him back, they can return to their swamp. While Shrek, Donkey and Puss in Boots are in search of the heir, Fiona holds off a coup d’etat by Prince Charming.
