One actor that has blipped on Warner Bros comicbook radar is Jude Law. The only problem is that as soon as the actor's name gets mentioned for anything it seems like he quickly becomes and afterthought. Law, who I will long remember as the sexual deviant in Closer, was once considered for the role of Superman and even the role of Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins.
Considering that I can't possibly imagine Jude Law in either of those roles I am glad that Warner Bros eventually pushed him down on the list. However, that doesn't mean he wouldn't make a great addition to either of the rejuvenated franchises.
Law as Two Face?
Though I would suggest taking this as a grain of salt, it looks like Jude Law has popped back up again on Warner Bros radar. According to a scoop over at BatmanonFilm, Law has become another actor considered by Warner Bros, Christopher Nolan, or whoever to play the part of D.A. Harvey Dent.
For the last couple of weeks I’ve been hearing the name of an actor getting a little run for the BATMAN BEGINS sequel. I’m assuming here, OK, but I would imagine he would be up for the role of Harvey Dent if he indeed is in the mix. This is a guy that has long been associated with a “comic book movie” with Warner Bros. In fact, he’s been mentioned in the past as a possible Bruce Wayne and was almost cast as Superman. If true, I think Jude Law would make for a fine Harvey Dent and Two Face later on.
Jude Law as Two Face? Now that is something I can see! However, if the decision on the role was between Jude Law and Liev Schreiber, I am going to
have to place my vote for Schreiber. I still think he is the best option suggested so far and would make a perfect fit to play a friend of young Bruce Wayne.
