We have been telling our readers for the past two weeks to expect the character posters for Over the Hedge to be released any day and Dreamworks has finally answered. To put a little icing on the cake, Dreamworks Animation has also given us a new feature poster as well.
Over the Hedge Posters
Over the Hedge is one of the many great-looking CG animations coming our way for 2006. Among the ranks are also Cars, The Wild, The Ant Bully, Monster House, Happy Feet and Flushed Away. Dreamworks Animation, who has given us great films such as Shrek and Shrek 2, knows that Over the Hedge is going to have to go beyond the call in order to be remembered by the end of 2006. Fortunately the picture house has so far nailed every media update on the film.

Just whose backyard is it, anyway?
Spring has sprung, and Verne and his woodland friends awaken from their long winter's nap to discover that a tall, green "thing" has mysteriously cropped up right through the middle of their home. Enter RJ, an opportunistic raccoon, who explains that the world beyond the hedge is the "gateway to the good life" where peculiar creatures called humans live to eat, rather than eat to live.
Over the Hedge comes to theatres on May 19th, 2005.
