I was watching The Deer Hunter lately and reminded that Christopher Walken has been a weird looking dude all his life. But don't think that I am hating on the actor, in fact I think quite the opposite. Walken has become notorious for great roles and the actor has somehow become a symbol of his own being.
When Christopher Walken is in a scene he refuses to drop into the background. Because of Walken's natural ability to shine, I couldn't be happier of each role that Walken is able to pick up.
Christopher Walking in Balls of Fury
According to Variety, Christopher Walken is set to star alongside Dan Fogler in Balls of Fury, the pingpong comedy written by Reno 911 creators Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant.
Garant will also direct Balls of Fury under the Rogue Films banner.
Walken plays Fang, an evil crime lord who is also a pingpong enthusiast. Fogler, the Tony-winning star of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," plays a disgraced player enlisted by the CIA to join a tournament held in Fang's lair. Lennon plays the comeback kid's East German nemesis.
Walken will next be seen in the Adam Sandler comedy Click. Other upcoming films featuring Walken include Barry Levinson's Man of the Year starring Robin Williams and We Own the Night with Mark Wahlberg and Joaquin Phoenix.
