Creator of the Sin City graphic novels, Frank Miller, recently caught up with MTV and discussed a few juicy tidbits for the upcoming sequel Sin City 2. Besides that, MTV seems to have mastered how to take a horrid picture of a person; Frank Miller looks like shit!
Sin City 2 with Miller
Other than frightening small children with the image of Frank Miller, MTV was able to get a few additional details for the sequel to Sin City plus who we can expect to see come back.
Marv died in "Sin City" — but that doesn't mean Mickey Rourke won't be back for the sequel.
Ditto for Dwight (Clive Owen), Shellie (Brittany Murphy), Nancy (Jessica Alba), Manute (Michael Clarke Duncan), Gail (Rosario Dawson) and the
rest of the Old Town gang. That's because "Sin City" is the "Pulp Fiction" of comic-book adaptations — since the interlinking stories aren't linear, when it comes time for the next installment in theaters, you'll get a prequel and a sequel at the same time.
"It jumps around a bit," writer/co-director Frank Miller said, "but mostly it's one story, incorporating some short stories that weave in and out of that."
Frank Miller admits that he plans to incorporate one of his smaller stories like he did with The Salesman, also known as The Man, played by Josh Hartnett. However, this time around Miller wants to take a look at Delia, a female assassin from the short story Blue Eyes.
