It looks like John Cusack made his reservation for two when he checked in to 1408. Not wanting to stay overnight alone, Samuel L Jackson has popped in to give him company. Or did Cusack just claim one to lower the rate on the room?
Samuel L Jackson in 1408
According to Variety, Dimension Films has added Samuel L. Jackson to the growing cast of the Stephen King adaptation 1408.
John Cusack was signed to the film early March (read here). Cusack stars as a debunker of paranormal occurrences who encounters real terror when he checks into the notorious Room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel. We still do not have any exact confirmation on what role Jackson might be playing.
Mikael Hafstrom, who previously hung out with Dimension for Derailed, will direct 1408.
Though busy with films such as Black Snake Moan, Home of the Brave and a Bob Saget-directed documentary spoof titled Farce of the Penguins, Jackson was able to clear a window to fit in 1408.
Samuel L. Jackson can also be seen in the soon-to-be cult film Snakes on a Plane.
Production of 1408 begins this summer.
Dimension Films has recently grew a hard-on for Stephen King and are working to adapt another of his novels, Cell, to the big screen.
