face of Rita Skeeter
I was just thinking to myself how long it has been
since we have heard any updates about Harry Potter and the Goblet of
Fire. This book is easily one of my favorites in the series and attempts
to be even darker than Prisoner of Azkaban. Well, there is no trailer
yet, but we do got some new stills for you thanks to the Dan Radcliffe fansite,
danradcliffe.com, and theleakycauldron.
While most of the pictures cover set pics of the second task [the one in
the water] of the Triwizard Tournament, there is also a new one of Miranda
Richardson as Rita Skeeter. The picture [right] was taken
from the latest Premiere magazine...

Premiere's latest issue will feature Miranda Richardson in character as
Rita Skeeter. The article also states:
Another year at Hogwarts, another director charge. As the first Englishman
to direct a Potter flick, Mike Newell brings his own school days to bear
as Harry faces not only his own fire-breathing dragons in the Triwizard
Tournament but also his greatest challenge yet - the resurrection of Voldemort.
"This story is about the return of the being of evil," says Newell.
"Harry is the vital ingredient for the potion which will bring Voldemort
back." Like He-Who-Must Not-Be-Named, Daily Prophet hack Rita Skeeter
makes her first appearance in this fourth installment of the series. "She's
completely brash and completely hateful," says Richardson, who likens
Skeeter to 1930s gossip queen Hedda Hopper. "She's written the deal
before she even gets there, really.
As in all the later books, Rowling knows how to create characters that easily
get on your nerves and may even piss you off.
