Charlotte's Web Poster
After being warned of a teaser trailer for Charlotte's
Web last week, Paramount Pictures followed through by releasing the preview to television. Hoping for some type of internet follow-up turned out to be a waste. Fortunately for us, the good people over at TheMovieBox got a hold of the trailer and put it up online.
Charlotte's Web Teaser Trailer
Though the teaser trailer for Charlotte's Web does look finished, I don't know if Paramount Pictures is ready to stamp it with 'official' and spread it all over the internet. Maybe they are working on a polished version to release a little bit later?
The trailer doesn't show much except introduce us to the animal characters and a sampling of Julia Roberts voice as the gifted web-slinger (no, not Spider-Man). Though it is still hard to tell which way this film is tilting-- especially since the sound didn't exactly line up in the transfer --the film could have some blockbuster potential.
Did anybody else notice how the trailer finished with the music from Edward Scissorhands? Is somebody gonna die!? (excuse the sarcasm)
Charlotte's Web features an ensemble cast that includes Dakota Fanning, Julia Roberts, Oprah Winfrey, Cedric The Entertainer, John Cleese, Andre 3000, Robert Redford, Steve Buscemi, Reba McEntire, Kathy Bates, Thomas Haden Church and Kevin Anderson.
Charlotte's Web is a live-action/photo real CG animated feature adaptation of E.B. White's Charlotte's Web starring Dakota Fanning as Fern. Julia Roberts will lend her vocals in the lead role of Charlotte A. Cavatica, a spider and heroine of the book who goes out of her way to save Wilbur the pig's life by weaving miraculous words into her webs.
