Mission Impossible 3
Paramount Pictures has released the fifth TV spot for Mission: Impossible III and, like all the other TV spots, it looks pretty good.
The only problem with the new TV spot, another element witnessed in all the others, is that it is so similar to everything else we have seen.
M:I:3 TV Spot #5
I would be in denial if I didn't admit that it is hard not to get excited about the upcoming release of Mission: Impossible III. With promises coming from both cast and crew, raved responses about Tom Cruise's return to the character Ethan Hunt, and genius JJ Abrams at the helm, M:i:III could be the perfect kick off to summer that 2005 was lacking.
It is a undeniable fact that the summer blockbusters of 2005 were disappointing to most (another contributor to the slump) and with films like V for Vendetta, Ice Age 2 and Lucky Number Slevin kicking the year off in proper fashion, we can only hope the summer blockbusters like M:i:III follow up.
So, yes, the latest TV spot for M:i:III is pretty damn solid. However, I am still hoping for a little more when Paramount begins to release clips from the film.
One thing I do have to give Paramount credit for is great featurettes and the brilliant laugh reel between Tom Cruise and JJ Abrams. Though we have no idea what is so funny, it is hard not to laugh along.
