Since it now looks like everybody and their brother is watching the fifth season of the hit series 24, most have already had their first -- maybe second -- taste of Kate Mara. After earning our pity due to a sexual harassment charge against a co-worker, we quickly learn that it may be Mara's character, Shari, who is the real problem. After Bill Buchanan gives her a pat on the back for a job well done, Shari confides in Chloe that he shouldn't have done that.
What a freak!
Fortunately, she is also a hottie; and now Wahlburg has a shot at her.
Kate Mara to Star in The Shooter
According to Variety, Kate Mara will star alongside Mark Wahlberg in The Shooter. The film, directed by Antoine Fuqua (Tears of the Sun, Training Day), will begin shooting this summer for Paramount Pictures.
Kate Mara will play the love interest of Wahlberg, a master sniper who is lured out of a reclusive existence to prevent an assassination.
Mara was last seen as Heath Ledger's 19 year-old daughter in Brokeback Mountain.
The actress can also be seen in the upcoming films Zoom, Full of It and We Are... Marshall.
