Considering that most have never seen the actual face of Ray Park behold the picture to the right. Playing Toad in the original X-Men and Darth Maul in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, we don't get many chances to see the martial arts wielding actor without a pile of junk on his face.
This may soon change with Ray Parks return to the Star Wars universe... kind of.
Ray Park for Fanboys and Star Wars TV
While talking about future projects with IESB, Ray Park touched upon his involvement in the upcoming Star Wars geek film titled Fanboys. The film is about a group of friends that have a mission to break into Skywalker Ranch and watch Star Wars: The Phantom Menace early as a wish to a dying friend. Ray Park will be one of the many Ranch guards that will complicate the boys' task.
It is also said that Park will have help from another security guard played by Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker); but that's an entirely other story.
With the Star Wars TV series developing behind some top secret Lucas door somewhere, the job opportunities for Ray Park are only growing. Can we expect the return of Darth Maul in the live-action television series? Who knows, but Park admits that he is willing to do another for the series including return as a younger Darth Maul, play another Jedi, or even just teach fight choreography.
Head over to IESB for the full report with Ray Park.
