If it is only because of Tim Allen's role in Galaxy Quest, I do have to admit that we are a little gitty about seeing the actor return to sci-fantasy with the upcoming comedy Zoom. Previously titled The Return of Zoom, the film could have enough oomph to help close out the summer on a positive note.

Zoom stars Tim Allen, Courteney Cox, Chevy Chase, Rip Torn, Spencer Breslin, Kate Mara, Michael Cassidy and Ryan Newman.
Based on the graphic novel "Zoom's Academy for the Super Gifted" from Jason Lethcoe. Tim Allen plays an out-of-shape former superhero who has lost his powers and is reluctantly called back into action to turn a ragtag group of kids into a new generation of superheroes to save the world from destruction. The film revolves around an unpopular high school girl who is whisked away by her mysterious father to a school for superheroes, where she discovers her talents.
