M:i:III makes the cut.
If you have been following the updates to Mission: Impossible III lately you can see that Paramount has really picked up their game on the film. After sitting in position number 11/12 for months, the film has finally been viewed enough to enter the CanMag Top Ten. With that, we have also updated the tallies on each film and why they are ranked the way they are.
Ethan Hunt finally jumped ahead of Justin Timberlake (Alpha Dog).
Top Ten Films
The top ten most viewed films on CanMag.Com on February 3rd were (stats from same date):
X-Men 3 had jumped ahead of Superman Returns that month and the film still hasn't looked back; even with 20th Century Fox making us remove the leaked images. I would have expected Superman Returns to close the gap by now but the lack of updates from Warner Bros has hurt the film quite a bit. The release of the full trailer should give the film a nice boost though.
The top ten most viewed films on CanMag.Com after the recent update this April 13th are:
As we have mentioned before, there is not a chance in hell that the top two films -- Spider-Man 3 and X-Men 3 -- are going to be replaced before the summer closes out. Now, we do expect significant boosts to Pirates and The Da Vinci Code over the next two months so they have a chance of moving up a spot or two.
Like the release dates, the Top Ten at CanMag is going to be very competitive over the summer.
One fact that I thought was worth pointing out is that Eragon has recently moved up to the number twelve spot and is knocking on both Alpha Dog (#11) and Mission: Impossible III. Can Eragon get into the Top Ten before its release to theatres?
