Let me paint a picture on how excited we are for the upcoming graphic novel adaptation 300 (even with it being pushed back to 2007). When I was alerted to new keyframes/concept art over at the official site I could only respond with 'mmm, I like it!'
And that was before I even saw the pictures. Now that I have, it is hard not to be impressed with the direction and style this film is leaning towards.

Director Zach Snyder is trying to apply that comicbook feel to 300, something to remind viewers that the film is an adaptation and not a history lesson.
Sure, the film is based on true events, but you won't see the events displayed in this fashion over on the History Channel.
The official site has recently been updated with key frames and concept art that help give moviegoers an idea of the general look and feel that 300 will have. How does it look? Take a gander at the image below.

Don't say it; I already know. 300 continues to hint that it will kick major ass in 2007.
