Sony Pictures has teamed up with Google to offer "The Da Vinci Code Quest on Google." In anticipation of the release of The Da Vinci Code, the game began on April 17th and will cover 24 days of puzzles and mystery.
If you decide to answer all the puzzles provided you will have a chance to win prizes such as trips to New York, Paris, Rome and London. For the non-traveling type, other grand prizes include electronics such as laptops, cameras and printers.
Da Vinci Code Quest
Before you can begin your quest into The Da Vinci Code you must register an account over at Google. If you already have an account with Google, then you are one step ahead of the game; cheater!
The first quiz is identical to one of the games featured on the official site for some time now. All one must do is put the symbols into rows without allowing a duplicate symbol in either a row or column. The only problem is that the game has been upgraded for the quest by having shaded areas as well; making the puzzle a touch trickier.
How trickier? About 3-5 minutes trickier. Most should get the first puzzle done and over with in no time. Your Google account then tracks and saves your progress.
Though the puzzles aren't incredible, they should be enough to replace Solitaire for a while.
