Eddie Murphy has recently picked up a few co-stars for the upcoming Dreamworks pic Norbit.
Already filming in Los Angeles, Norbit was in need of a complete cast.
Newton, Gooding Jr and Griffin for Norbit
According to Variety, Thandie Newton, Cuba Gooding Jr., Eddie Griffin and Terry Crews have joined Eddie Murphy to star in DreamWorks Pictures' upcoming comedy Norbit.
Norbit stars Eddie Murphy, a meek guy pressed into marrying a monstrous woman (also Murphy), only to meet the woman of his dreams (Newton).
Just in case you didn't catch it, Norbit will become one of the many films that features Eddie Murphy in multiple roles.
Here is a fun fact: Cuba Gooding Jr. had a cameo role in the Eddie Murphy comedy Coming to America. Cuba can be seen as the little kid getting his hair cut in the barber shop that Murphy's character visits on a few occasions.
Gooding takes the role of Newton's boyfriend, while Griffin will star as a retired pimp. Terry Crews (Everybody Hates Chris) will play the role of one of Norbit's in-laws.
