Renee Zellweger
It is hard not to like Renee Zellweger. The actress nailed the part of Roxie Hart in Chicago and is a stiff reminder on why we should avoid extra sour lemons right before having our picture taken; look through her promotional images and you'll see what I mean.
She recently finished lending her voice to the upcoming animation Bee Movie and has now got a new project ready to begin with Paramount.
Renee Zellweger on Case 39
According to Variety, Renee Zellweger has been picked up by Paramount Pictures to star in the upcoming thriller Case 39.
The film is scheduled to begin shooting at the end of July. Though Paramount has begun to collect a cast, the project still remains director-less.
The script was penned by Ray Wright and centers around a social worker who saves an abused 10-year-old girl from her parents. She discovers, however, that the parents are not the real problem.
Case 39 marks the second time Renee Zellweger has dropped into the thriller genre with her first go back in 1994 with The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Zellweger is currently wrapping up production on The Weinstein Co's Miss Potter. Before you ask, NO, this film has nothing to do with the popular books.
