We have been huge fans of the V for Vendetta before, during and after viewing it in theatres. If you read my review on Vendetta then you already know how pleased I was with the film and how I had hoped that other moviegoers would have a chance to experience something truly unique for 2006. Sure, there are some political overtones that may turn some away, but as a movie V for Vendetta is one heck of a ride.
And it now looks like other moviegoers agree.
V for Vendetta Wins Poll for Spring
Our good buddy 'RonJon' recently sent over the stats to a recent poll that EW had that asked, "What's your favorite movie so far this spring?" The moviegoing community responded and couldn't have chosen a better option.
Of the votes collected a whopping 40% had V for Vendetta as the best film of spring; a majority of the votes collected.

Though we don't want to throw V for Vendetta too much praise before the summer releases, we still predict that the film will be one of the movies of 2006 by the time the year closes out.
