It would seem that 'graphic novels' are the way
to go for 2005. First we had the amazing trailer from Sin
City, and now Warner Bros. has broke news that they are backing
the Wachowski Brothers and Joel Silver [all three worked on the Matrix
movies] for a film adaptation of V for Vendetta.

Since news of the film is currently pretty fresh, there is not much known
about its makings. However, we do know who will star in V for Vendetta;
the hottie that all the Star Wars kids now adore, Natalie Portman.
Portman will star in V For Vendetta, a film that tells a story
of revolution as if the Germans had one World War II. The movie will be
filmed in Berlin, which is somewhat fitting as the story takes place in
a new totalitarian Britain. Portman will star as the heroine who joins a
mysterious revolutionary group.

The coolest media for V for Vendetta [right now] is the teaser
image posted above. The only additional news, besides stated above, is that
James McTeigue will be in the director's chair for the film. McTeigue worked
as an assistant on the Matrix movies.
