We have quite an interesting mix of new updates on X-Men 3: The Last Stand to help kick off the new week.

X-Men 3: The Last Stand Updates

We have received everything from images to supposed 'scoops' for X-Men: The Last Stand over the weekend and figured it was about time to point some of them out.

To start, our new forum user 'xmrxbojanglesx' posted a whole new set of character posters for X3 that we are hoping to come our way this week. Each poster features a two-word tagline that describes the character on display. I dig the look, the words chosen, and even the font choice for the film's title.

You can check out all the screenshots of the X3 posters by going to the CanMag Forums.

Our good buddy 'RonJon' had also sent over a new image from X-Men 3 that features both Wolverine and Beast standing together (below).

Now here comes some of the 'unofficial' news for X-Men 3. We have recently been sent quite a few new 'scoops' and have no say on how valid the information is. However, if any of the details do turn out to be true then you may want to stop now; SPOILERS!

First up is a post that appeared in our Blogs (reposted in our Forums) from a person who claims that the funeral is more of a hoax than a real deal.

Just saw the movie. The funeral is for Wolverine, but he is not really dead. Everyone thinks he's dead, except for Storm and Kitty.

Sorry I didn't answer before, we are really busy around here. We are doing the subtitles for X3 in Latin America and that's how I get to see the movie. I don't want to post a lot of spoilers, because it sucks when you know too much, I just wanted to throw the Wolverine thing because everyone was trying to find out the reason of the funeral, and I thought that I was such a cool thing it was for a character that wasn't really dead at all. Wolverine shows up at the end of the funeral (when everybody leaves) and says goodbye to Storm and asks her to watch for Rogue.

Sound strange? Well, then you will most likely find the 'X3 Deaths Report' to be awkward as well.

Here is the list of deaths in x3 and the reason as to why they will happen:
Mystique:is overused in these three films and they need to make a change of villains for future films mystique is captured with juggernaut and multiple man freed by magneto then mystique gets captured again and CURED then there is an awesome emotional scene where magneto kills her after she becomes a human

Want the whole list of supposed deaths? Then check out the entire thread at CanMag Forums.

Last but not least, the same person also posted an early review for X3. The review looks like it was copied from another site so if you discover where please contact me (email below).

"X-Men The Last Stand" represents a significant ramping up of story, characters, effects and battles over the previous films.Director Brett Ratner Surpasses his preceedor Bryan Singer by delivering the Absolutely mind blowing conclusion of the trilogy while staying true to singer’s version of “the x world” in "X-Men The Last Stand" there are many stories unfolding and it goes much deeper into the character arcs, now while I despise characters returning from the dead as restructions tend to make films less realistic however the return of Janssen’s character (Jean Grey) makes me even more impressed with this film . the film opens with a flashback scene showing younger versions of Patrick stewart (professor Charles Xavier) and Sir Ian Mckellan (as Magneto) first meeting with the young Jean Grey a 9 year old girl with extraordinary powers surpassing even Xavier and magneto this flashback Proves that this isn’t the casual superhero flick no the characters are very complex we see how one of the hero’s of the franchise (Xavier) feels jealousy and f ear towards a 9 year old girl and placing in her mind something to block her powers.

Is any of the information legit? Eh, be sure to gobble up the details with a big dose of salt; but they are still interesting just the same. You can check out the entire post of the X3 review HERE.

X-Men 3: The Last Stand comes to theatres on May 26th.
