It turns out that the comedies are making a lot of ground this Monday with the latest report that Anna Faris will be jumping from Scary Movie 4 onto another, smaller indie comedy.
Faris For Mama's Boy
One of the issues I have always had with Anna Faris is that it is nearly impossible to call her 'hot' thanks to how goofy her roles are. But then I take a long hard look at the image to the right and think "damn!" Either way, Anna Faris has made a career out of the comedy genre and it doesn't look like she plans to stop.
According to THR, Anna Faris has been picked up by Warner Independent Pictures to star in Mama's Boy. The film is being directed by Tim Hamilton and will star Jon Heder in the title role.
Mama's Boy tells the story of a slacker in his 30s (Heder) who still lives with his mom (Diane Keaton). When the mom falls for a motivational speaker (Jeff Daniels), the slacker's way of life is threatened. Faris plays Heder's love interest, a singer-songwriter.
The script for Mama's Boy was written by Hank Nelken. Shooting is expected to begin this June in Los Angeles.
If you are desperate for your next fix of Anna Faris then head out to theatres to see Scary Movie 4 or wait it out for her next role in My Super Ex-Girlfriend.
