Jamie Kennedy
Jamie Kennedy has always been a major hit or miss with the fans. After having us laugh in Scream and thrilling us in Enemy of the State, Kennedy moved on to other films including -- I don't want to say it -- Malibu's Most Wanted. Whew, now it's out there.
There is no doubt the actor has the ability to make us laugh, he just needs the proper vehicle to get the job done. Kickin' It Old Skool, on the other hand, gives me a suspicious, Most Wanted, feeling.
Bob Yari Prods. is Kickin' It Old Skool
According to Variety, Bob Yari Productions is ready to move foward with the upcoming laugher Kickin' It Old Skool now that the projects has a well-rounded cast.
The film will star Jamie Kennedy and Maria Menounos and will feature other names including Christopher McDonald, Miguel Nunez, Aris Alvarado, Bobby Lee, Debra Jo Rupp, Alan Ruck, Michael Rosenbaum and Vivica Fox
Kickin' It Old Skool centers on a 12-year-old breakdancer, who in 1986 hits his head while performing at a talent show and as a result is comatose for 20 years. He awakes to find he is a grown man and attempts to revive his dance group's career.
The film will be directed by newcomer Harvey Glazer and begins filming on April 5th in Vancouver.
Jamie Kennedy, who still holds title to one of the WB's highest rated shows (Jamie Kennedy Experiment), can be seen in the upcoming MTV series' Jamie Kennedy's Blowin' Up.
