With only Shrek the Third in production, Mike Myers has been feeling his way to his next feature comedy. What he didn't know is that he'd have to battle a robotic mutiny.
Mike Myers On How to Survive a Robot Uprising
According to Variety, Paramount Pictures has recently picked up Mike Myers to star in the comedy How to Survive a Robot Uprising.
The script for Robot is based on a manual written by Daniel H. Wilson, a doctoral candidate at the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon U. Paramount has assigned Thomas Lennon and Ben Garant the task of penning the script; both of who had a hand in Reno 911.
Myers will play a technical administrator who has the thankless job of sounding warnings against the growing presence of robots and researching ways to keep those robots from taking over.
The project will re-team Myers with producer Michael De Luca, who he worked with on the Austin Powers trilogy over at New Line.
Myers currently only has two other projects that include Shrek the Third -- Myers returns to the title character of Shrek -- and Keith Moon in See Me Feel Me: Keith Moon Naked for Your Pleasure -- a biopic on the drummer from the Who.
