Lindsay Lohan and Adrien Brody are preparing to get it on naughty style for an upcoming indie comedy.
Adrien Brody, Lindsay Lohan for Speechless
According to Variety, Adrien Brody and Lindsay Lohan have agreed to co-star in the indie romantic comedy Speechless.
The film will be directed by Brian Dannelly, who previously wrote and directed Saved!.
Previously titled The Guided Man, Speechless is the story of an introverted man (Brody) who is invited to give a speech at his childhood friend's wedding and turns to a service that allows someone -- played by Lohan -- to speak through him. Nice work on the title change by the way; Guided Man sounded a bit too awkward.
The film is based on a story by L. Sprague De Camp from 1952. Steve Adams wrote the original adaptation for Speechless, leaving Dannelly and writing partner Michael Urban the task of updating the story.
Speechless is set to begin filming later this year.
Once the deal closes, Speechless will be Lindsay Lohan's sixth straight indie feature. According to sources, after making money through feature films such as Mean Girls, Lohan has been seeking out more character-driven pics. The young actress is already preparing to hit theatres with A Prairie Home Companion and Georgia Rule. Her other indie pics include Bill, Chapter 27 and Bobby.
Brody is currently working on Manolete somewhere in Spain.
