Villain rumors for the sequel to Batman Begins have been popping up all over the internet for the past few months now with multiple big names being mentioned. However, it is Josh Lucas who has received the most attention and it is he who is trying to move up to the top of the list.
Josh Lucas Wants Two Face
Though Josh Lucas admitted that he could not confirm any rumors that claimed Warner Bros was interested in him for the part, he did announce that he was interested.
We were glad to hear it, as the actor does have the look and the age to play Harvey Dent -- a friend of Bruce Wayne's who later turns into Two Face.
IESB recently caught up with Josh Lucas to get an update on the Batman villain rumors and it turns out that Lucas has changed his mode from interest to actively pursuing the role.
We talked to Josh Lucas while he promoting his latest, Poseidon, and asked about his rumored interest in the Batman sequel. He said the following,
"Absolutely, I want the role."
I said, "we are talking about the Harvey Dent role correct?"
"Yes."
Though we are still rooting for Liev Schreiber, Josh's active interest may soon be enough for the cheering section to join his side.
