Got what I can only call a 'movie trailer bonanza'
for you. While none of these trailers really offer a whole lot new, they
are still refreshing. The film trailers include: Kicking & Screaming,
Robots, Alone in the Dark, and Unleashed.
Kicking & Screaming Trailer
If you have already seen the Kicking & Screaming trailer, starring
Will Ferrell as a super-competitive youth soccer couch, then you really
don't need to check this out. The latest trailer is just a different file
format than the original. The new version is everyone's favorite, quicktime,
while the older version was streaming media through windows media [newer
version comes in various sizes and a little bit better resolution].

Alone in the Dark Trailer
Alone in the Dark is the adaptation of the popular nintendo game. In the
film, Christian Slater plays as Detective Carnby, who has recently come
across evidence that something paranormal is occurring. It is up to Carnby
to solve the mystery and defeat the new evil before earth finds itself in
jeopardy.
Again, if you have already seen the trailer, this one is pretty much the
same. The only thing truly new about it is the .mov format, which allows
for better viewing [quicktime].

Unleashed- Spring Trailer
I really want to see this film. Just watching the trailer gives me a sense
of The Professional all over again. But this time it is Jet Li doing the
butt-kicking. The new Unleashed trailer only features a couple additional
shots. I think the whole point of this new, 'Spring', trailer was to announce
that there is an actual release date for the film sometime during Spring
of 2005. I would have been a lot happier if there was an actual day of the
month, but this will have to do.
This is probably the most different of the new trailers. Even if you have seen all the other Robots trailers, from the producers of Ice Age, you will be able to watch this trailer and find
a lot of new dialogue and shots. This film seems to get funnier with every additional trailer. I can only assume that there may be one more additional [US] trailer and then some movie clips. Robots is due out on
March 11, 2005.
