Last week we had reported that Disney and MySpace teamed up in order to allow some lucky winners the opportunity to see the never-before-seen feature trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest. When do they get to see it? Today!
Or, so we thought.
Though we had expected the trailer to be all over the net by now, it looks like we are going to have to sit patient. It is hard to do I know, thankfully there is a preview of the trailer to hold us over.
Dead Man's Chest Trailer Preview
I recently checked the MySpace page for Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and am surprised that they have not publicly announced a winner. The contest rules state that the winner would be chosen by 9 AM this morning. If they had chosen a winner by then, how come he or she isn't streaming the feed all over MySpace? They should have chosen me!
There is currently no mention of a winner anywhere on the MySpace website. Will they get one up before May 1st closes out?
Though we had expected to be celebrating the feature trailer of POTC 2 by tonight, it looks like we will have to settle for the preview... of the trailer. I know, I know, previews of trailers are so Revenge of the Sith. The good news is that this preview seems to cover almost the entire trailer. The bad news is that it has some nice Asian voices discussing (I am guessing) what is going on.
