After posting the preview of the trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest yesterday we figured we had seen most of what there was to see. What we didn't know is that Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swann and Will Turner have come back to give us a big round of whoop-ass.
This film looks sweet with a capital S!
Dead Man's Chest Feature Trailer
There is so much quick detail in the feature trailer for Dead Man's Chest that I don't even know where to start. The sea beast looks great, the Davey Jones ship is nothing short of incredible, the action looks intense, and Keira Knightley looks as hot as ever.
It would be an understatement to say that director Gore Verbinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer had their work cut out for them if they were planning on outdoing the spectacle of the original film. Though some would have thought that impossible, the feature trailer shows enough to keep us drooling all the way until July 7th.
The only issue I had with the trailer is that Davey Jones lead henchmen looked slightly CG. Not too much, but enough to raise my suspicions. However, there are other scenes where the characters look great and just seem to fit in; so there you go.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
I wonder what the hell Warner Bros has to be thinking when they watch this trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Their golden egg, titled Superman Returns, will hatch only a week before the release of Pirates. Will Bryan Singer's comicbook adaptation have the legs to go head to head with a couple of swashbuckling pirates a week later?
