USA Today has recently posted the first
picture of Steve Carell looking like Noah for Evan Almighty.
In the 2003 comic fantasy Bruce Almighty, Jim Carrey had the power while filling in for Morgan Freeman's God.
But in Evan Almighty, Steve Carell has the hair.
All that yanked chest fuzz when Carell got a wax job in The 40-Year-Old
Virgin? It's replaced and then some when God (a returning Freeman)
transforms the news anchor-turned-congressman into a modern-day Noah in
the sequel to Carrey's hit, now shooting in central Virginia.
Though I first had my doubts when we were told that
a sequel would be made with Carell's character, the shot of him as Noah
is pretty money.
