Here are a couple weekend updates coming at you including an alert for a new trailer of the upcoming Guillermo del Toro film Pan's Labyrinth.
Pan's Labyrinth Poster
Panīs labyrinth is the story of a young girl that travels with her mother and adoptive father to a rural area up North in Spain, 1944. After Francoīs victory. The girl lives in an imaginary world of her own creation and faces the real world with much chagrin. Post-war Fascist repression is at its height in rural Spain and the girl must come to terms with that through a fable of her own.
The recent trailer for the Pan's Labyrinth currently only comes in low-res flash format; which kind of sucks. However, the trailer has so many cool visuals that it should suffice until the release of the real thing in a higher resolution.
What can you expect to see? How about a flying pixie, a goat creature, something with its eyes in its hands, a giant toad, cool hallways and many other things that could frighten the shit right out of small children.
Check out the new trailer for Pan's Labyrinth in flash format.
Pan's Labyrinth is currently set for a limited release October 2006.
