Hugh Jackman is Wolverine
One of the largest players in the entire X-Men film franchise, Hugh Jackman, has been running around discussing the heck out of X-Men: The Last Stand. Though the film has received a bit of negative buzz recently, the actor is still confident of his character's future and that of the franchise.
X-Men 3 with Hugh Jackman
The good people over at IESB have recently caught up with Hugh Jackman and got him to discuss a few details on the upcoming Wolverine spin-off, X-Men: The Last Stand and the surprise clip after the closing credits. What the heck?
Q: Did you know about the little tag they put in at the end about…Well I don't want to spoil it but…
HJ: I've heard, yea, everyone stayed for the credits?
Q: There's been talk about the Wolverine prequel. How soon is that gonna get going or do you think there will be an X-Men 4 before that?
HJ: No I don't think there will be an X-Men 4, we have a second draft in from David Danioff, who is an amazing writer and a huge fan, and I'm very excited about it. I would say Wolverine is going to be next as for when that happens, I don't know. It's looking very exciting.
The interview goes on to cover other Jackman films including The Prestige and The Fountain; both of which I am dying to see.
Check out the entire review (both video and in print) over at IESB.
X-Men 3: The Last Stand comes to theatres on May 26th.
