After being warned earlier this week that Warner Bros was looking to release a new movie poster for their upcoming tentpole flick Superman Returns, we have finally received something that shows the true spectacle of the superhero.

As discussed in the HBO series Entourage -- the pilot episode actually -- the movie poster for any lead male character has to show off a, uhh, well endowed package; without looking too absurd obviously. Warner Bros fortunately dodged the bullet by place a shadow across Superman's lower half. Not that we are looking, but there you go.
All kidding aside, the new poster is quite an achievement and we are now hoping that Warner Bros will treat us by following this up with the three character posters that appeared over at Cannes.

This poster has just enough contrasting colors to enable it to stand out to moviegoers as they enter local movie theatres.
Superman Returns will fly into theatres on June 30th.
