The beautiful Scarlett Johansson has nothing less than five future films she is attached to and the young actress figured why not squeeze in one more. According to a report from Cannes, Johansson is ready to team up with Levinson.
Johansson for Brilliant
According to Variety, Scarlett Johansson has been picked up to star in Barry Levinson's heist film Brilliant.
Gillian Gorfil and Elizabeth Shorten penned the screenplay, based on a story by Gorfil and Nicholas Lorentz.
Brilliant follows Johansson as a jewel thief who teams up with a conman to pull off the biggest heist in history. However, the duo's relationship is fraught with twists and turns.
Casting is now underway to find a male lead to star opposite Johansson.
Brilliant is expected to enter production this September with hopes of release for September, 2007.
Avi Lerner, Randall Emmett, Melanie Johansson and Gorfil will produce.
