Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest is shaping up to be one heck of a film and I must admit that I am a bit anxious for the beginning of July. One thing that has surprised me is Disney's lack of response to all the recent marketing has done for Superman Returns. Since these two films are going head-to-head (release dates are a week apart) at the beginning of July, I figured Disney would be blowing through cash to make sure it is their film's release date that gets remembered.
Maybe they are planning for a late start similar to what 20th Century Fox did for X-Men: The Last Stand.
