Finding himself with a bit of free time lately, Spike Lee has joined up with 20th Century Fox to give a popular thriller a rewrite.
Spike Lee Rewrites Selling Time for Fox
According to Variety, Spike Lee has made a deal to rewrite Selling Time, a supernatural thriller for 20th Century Fox.
Since Lee does not have another film lined up to direct after his latest go with Inside Man, Lee will keep an eye on directing the project as well.
John Davis and Jennifer Klein are already lined up to produce.
Story concerns a man who sells chunks of his life in an attempt to relive and change the worst day of his life.
The project was originally held under Davis Entertainment who sold it to Fox 2000. Selling Time had once been developed as a directing project for Forest Whitake, and Will Smith once flirted with the starring role.
