Uma Thurman, who we can soon see as a stage 5 superhero clinger in My Super Ex-Girlfriend with Luke Wilson, seems to have forgotten that she already has a husband.
Uma Thurman for The Accidental Husband
According to Variety, Uma Thurman is set to star in romantic comedy The Accidental Husband for the Yari Film Group. Though no director has yet to be chosen, the studio is hoping for Griffin Dunne.
The film is a romantic comedy about a woman who had somehow forgot that she already has a husband after picking up a second. Now, I am sure there are those of us who have 'forgotten' we have a girlfriend from time to time, but a husband? Out of area code out of, well, you get the picture.
Story revolves around a psychologist who gets engaged but then learns she is already married. Tracking down the rogue husband, she finds she's conflicted about which man to remain with.
Two writing teams penned the screenplay: Mimi Hare and Clare Naylor, and Kristen Buckley and Brian Regan (How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days).
The Accidental Husband is set to begin filming this fall in New York.
Uma Thurman can be seen this July in another role that many of us guys have become very aware of -- clinging girlfriends. The only problem is that her character also happens to be a superhero, which takes the relationship, and the break-up, to a whole other level.
