We have quite an array of new updates for Warner Bros. Superman Returns including an official third trailer, soundtrack info and a change in release.

Superman Returns Updates

First things first -- the third feature trailer for Superman Returns that played before some showings of X-Men: The Last Stand is now available over at Yahoo! Movies.

Though the new trailer does not feature Stacey being goofy as Lex Luthor -- which I am completely geeked on by the way -- it is possibly the best one to date. Taking a more serious approach to the story, we learn more about Lex Luthor's plans, see more projectiles in slow-motion, and get to hear more dialogue from Superman himself.

Is it just me or does it seem like there is a major scene that Warner Bros and Bryan Singer are hiding?

Second up for the Superman Returns updates comes from Rhino Records, the label behind both the Sound of Superman and the Superman Returns OST. The Rhino site has posted a track listing for the Superman Returns soundtrack and it goes a little something like this:

1. Main Titles
2. Memories
3. Rough Flight
4. Little Secrets/Power Of The Sun
5. Bank Job
6. How Could You Leave Us?
7. Tell Me Everything
8. You're Not One Of Them
9. Not Like The Train Set
10. So Long Superman
11. The People You Care For
12. I Wanted You To Know
13. Saving The World
14. In The Hands Of Mortals
15. Reprise / Fly Away

Last, but definitely not least, we have been alerted that Warner Bros has pushed the release of Superman Returns forward to June 28th. The move itself is pretty genius and I can only assume that Warner Bros has been longing to fill the June void considering that Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest hits theatres only a week later. Now Warner Bros will have an extra two days to make a killing at the box office before meeting their match.

Unless you have been hiding under a rock, the summer box office has (so far) been pretty rewarding. Both The Da Vinci Code and X-Men: The Last Stand are still raking in millions like it is going out of style. Can Superman Returns keep up with this trend? With Bryan Singer at the helm picture fans nodding a big YES.

Superman Returns will fly into theatres on June 30th.

Stay tuned for updates.
