For all you Steven Chow fans out there [are there
many of you?], it seems that we got another martial arts comedy on its way
into America.
Steven Chow's Kung fu Hustle
Ok, there are probably many of you who have never heard of Steven Chow.
Well, if you want to see something different, head over to your local video
store and rent the film Shaolin Soccer [or read the REVIEW
here]. This film represents what Steven Chow is all about. Somehow, Chow
has successfully created the 'kung fu comedy' genre in film. His films are
extremely silly, but also feature some of the coolest martial arts and special
effects around. Take his next film, Kung Fu Hustle, for example.
Released in 2004 in China, the film will be making its debut [limited release]
in the states on March 18 of this year.
