Considering that MGM has so far sent us nothing on the upcoming WWI flick Flyboys all we know is that the film tells the story of the Lafayette Escadrille, American pilots that joined the French military long before America ever entered the war.
The film, starring James Franco, Jean Reno, David Ellison, Martin Henderson and Jennifer Decker, is expected to land in theatres on October 27th.

Though we have yet to receive any updates for Flyboys, the trailer for the film looks pretty damn cool. Following the tag 'From the Producer of Independence Day and The Patriot,' the film shows off enough aerial action to get any moviegoers attention.
