Superman Returns at the MTV Movie Awards

Superman Returns

Seems to be a slow Friday but we have been alerted to two new clips for Superman Returns thanks to the MTV Movie Awards that aired last night.

Since MTV seems to think that Superman Returns is the movie to see for 2006 it was a no-brainer that the film would get some extra special attention at the 2006 MTV Movie Awards.

The awardshow kicked off with an interview with Superman himself, Brandon Routh, as he entered on the blue carpet. Routh, who seems to be starstruck every time he takes a look in the mirror, didn't have too much to say on the film and, instead, let the interviewer drool all over him. Which is fine because there was hotness all around.

Though Routh didn't give anything away, the show itself gave an extended preview of the infamous plane sequence from Superman Returns.

Superman Returns will fly into theatres on June 27th.
