After his 'breakout' role in 8 Mile (yawn), Eminem finds another film that suits him.
Eminem for Have Gun -- Will Travel
According to Variety, Paramount Pictures has picked up none other than rapper Eminem to star in Have Gun -- Will Travel.
An adaptation of the 1957 CBS series, the TV Western starred Richard Boone as Paladin, a gunfighter-for-hire.
The show will be updated to contemporary times with Eminem now as the bounty hunter.
Since 8 Mile, Eminem's film debut for Universal, studios have been looking to be in business with him. The rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, and his reps had a hard time finding the right follow-up, however.
Fortunately for them, any film with 'Gun' in the title is a solid start.
Eminem is currently busy working on his new record with Obie Trice.
